Prince Charles Public School
2025-2026 Safe and Inclusive School Plan
Our school is committed to providing all students with a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment free from bullying and harassment that promotes respect, acceptance, and empathy.
Staff, students, parents and caregivers, and community partners will work together as a team to help make our school safe and welcoming for everyone.
The Safe and Inclusive School Plan highlights some of the key actions that our school community will put in place as part of our bullying prevention and intervention efforts.
Key Priorities and Goals
This year we are focusing on building healthy and respectful relationships between students.
We are doing this to provide students with the skills to resolve conflicts and improve their overall well being at school.
Key Actions or Strategies
- Explicitly teaching students conflict resolution skills.
- Give staff and students a common language to discuss conflicts using a problem solving wheel.
- Use restorative practices to help students build and repair relationships and demonstrate empathy toward others.
Community and Home Connections
- Ask your child how they use the problem-solving wheel to resolve conflicts at school.
- Encourage your child/children to use “I” statements when they are upset.
- Check out this resource Stop It, Name It, a universal way of addressing concern.
